The Institute of Communications Studies invites applications for this project on Cultural Policy Under New Labour, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and led by Professors David Hesmondhalgh and Kate Oakley, and Dr David Lee.
You will provide general research and administrative support, assist with and conduct fieldwork interviews and document analysis, and contribute to the preparation and dissemination of reports and papers. The appointee must be of postdoctoral standing and should possess a PhD or have the equivalent research experience in a subject related to cultural policy studies and/or communication and media studies; be able to demonstrate a developing record of research; and will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
University Grade 6 (£24,370 - £29,099 p.a.) It is likely that an appointment will be made at or below £27,428 since there are funding limitations which dictate the level at which the appointment can start.
