The Centre for Research in Media and Cultural
Studies, University of Sunderland, UK, has funding to offer two full-time scholarships with a start date of 1st February 2013. 65% of
the Centre’s research was classed as ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally
excellent’ in the RAE2008. Together with
full payment of fees, each scholarship will include a bursary of £13,590 per
year. In return successful candidates will be expected to do six hours teaching
per week.
We will
consider applicants proposing research in any area of media, film, and cultural
studies.

1. Curriculum Vitae.
2. An outline of your proposed research topic
(about 500 words).
3. A brief explanation of why you would like
to study at the Centre for Research in Media and Cultural Studies.
